About Ms. Flannery

Gabrielle Flannery is a soprano currently residing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Recently, she has performed with the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra singing selections from Phantom of the Opera and guests as soprano soloist for local opportunities. She continues to teach voice and work in arts administration, in addition to performing.

Previously, Flannery was an artist in residence with Dayton Opera for the 2024/2025 season, performing for the opera outreach program, educational programing, and community events. She performed Handel’s Messiah with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. In summer 2024, Flannery was an artist with Dramatic Voices Program Berlin where she sang as Vierte Magd in Elektra and performed Mozart Lied for the Lied Festival.

In the 2023/2024 season, Flannery was Artist-in-Residence with Dayton Opera, performing in Dracula:Bloodlines, Sweeney Todd, Educational Outreach, and Community Concerts. In the spring she performed with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra for Memorial Day.

Additionally, Flannery spent two summers as a young artist with the Bay View Music Festival in Petosky, Michigan where she performed in The Sound of Music, La bohème, Beauty and the Beast, Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicchi. She participated in the American Spiritual Intensive her second year.

Flannery holds her bachelor degree from Lee University and her master degree from University of Northern Iowa.
